1. Quotations
Website prices are starting figures. A quotation may change if the vehicle’s size, access, condition, previous repairs, contamination or requested outcome differs materially from information supplied.
2. Booking and deposits
A booking is confirmed only when accepted in writing and any stated deposit has cleared. Deposits may be retained where cancellation occurs within the notice period stated in the booking confirmation.
3. Vehicle condition
Clients must disclose known paint repairs, loose trim, electrical faults, water leaks, aftermarket parts, sensitive finishes and valuable items. We may photograph condition before and after work.
4. Results
Detailing improves and protects surfaces but cannot guarantee complete removal of every stain, scratch, odour, chip or defect. Correction work is limited by paint thickness, previous repairs and safe working judgement.
5. Collection and payment
Final payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise. Vehicles should be collected at the arranged time. Storage charges may apply after reasonable notice.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, liability is limited to reasonably foreseeable direct loss arising from failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
7. Independent status
topgear.blog is an independent vehicle-care website and is not affiliated with any television programme, magazine publisher or vehicle manufacturer sharing similar wording.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections.
